The mutual antagonistic actions between aconitine and tetracaine, concain in frog heart

Abstract

|
Empoying excised frog´s gearts, some local anesthetics were examined to have antagonistic effect on the characteristic aconitine action. Procarin hydrochloride and procaine amide could not affect the aconitine action, whereas tertacaine and cocaine could efficiently protect the hearts from the characteristic aconitine action.
